Cairns is set to step back in time as The Reef Hotel Casino marks its 30‑year milestone with a full month of era‑defining celebrations.
June will ignite with three huge, themed weekends in a row, each dedicated to the unforgettable sounds, style and spirit of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Entertainment Manager Bruce says the idea has been years in the making.
“I’ve always wanted to dedicate a whole month to the eras—70s one weekend, 80s the next, then the 90s. This is our party year, so why not go big? If I had a great 60s band, I’d have locked that in too. Next time.”
THE ERAS LINE-UP — JUNE 2026
70s Weekend — 12 & 13 June
Disco Revolution (direct from Sydney) brings powerhouse vocals, dazzling costumes and pure disco energy in a full multimedia experience.
80s Weekend — 19 & 20 June
Turn up the neon with Bigger Badder Big Noise, delivering the ultimate throwback to the decade of big hair, big hooks and even bigger anthems.
90s Weekend — 26 & 27 June
The iconic Playpen Reunion returns, featuring the 90s configuration of Big Noiseand Mr President—a nostalgic blast for anyone who lived (and loved) the era.
